WhizzStep's programmes are designed to sit alongside, not replace, a school's own safeguarding policy.
No public AI accounts required
The introductory GUARD workshop does not require students to create accounts on public AI services.
The school stays in charge
Schools retain their normal consent, supervision and safeguarding responsibilities throughout every session, whether delivered in-school, live online or hybrid.
No private student contact
WhizzStep does not accept or respond to direct private enquiries from individual students through the school enquiry form. That form is for adults representing a school.
Photographs and student work
Student photographs, names or work are not published without the school's and, where applicable, the family's explicit permission.
Handling harmful material
Where a session touches on deepfakes or synthetic media, real harmful examples are not recirculated for demonstration, only clearly labelled, purpose-built teaching examples are used.
Escalation during a session
If a concern arises during a session, the attending school staff member is asked to pause the activity and follow the school's own safeguarding escalation route. WhizzStep facilitators will flag any concern to the school coordinator immediately.
Feedback
Where schools agree to share feedback or outcomes, it is anonymised wherever possible before being used in any learning summary.
